Large companies are committing to recycled content, other companies are cleaning ocean of plastics, everyone is trying to use less or better plastic compounds (bio) for the environment.  Do we have the infrastructure to handle all our recycling efforts?

Recently in Canada, a report showed that much of the plastic film is either burned or buried.  Recycling needs to be economically viable for it to work and right now oil and resin prices have remained low.  The public attention was high on recycling in the early 90's (think styrofoam for fast food) and most of those efforts quietly disappeared.
The opportunities for recyclers and the planet are huge, but we need to make sure we can get there
