The effective date of an appraisal can be any date in the past or future. If you need to know what your machinery and equipment is worth as of the last day of 2017 for accounting or insurance or any other reason, we can do one for you. Our database of historical sales allows us to pick any point in time to see what machines similar to yours were/are selling for. It takes the pressure off of the last minute appraisal. The report can be created when you request it!
It is customary for the effective date to be the date of the inspection for inspected reports, but any date can be selected. Uninspected reports have always been the selection of the client as long as it can give a credible result.
