A thermoforming trim press is used to stamp the product out of a sheet of plastics. Trim Presses are placed after a continuous thermoforming machine to separate the formed product from the excess. They can be used for perimeter trimming, pre-punching, counting and stacking. Trim pressed come in an either Horizontal (typical) or Vertical (less common) configuration. The width of the trim press usually follows the width of the thermoformer and can be paired with a different thermoformers or moved within a plant based on specific needs.
