Fasti Koch is part of Koch-Technik, a company that began in 1974 when Werner Koch started building equipment for dosing, mixing, and conveying plastics. What began as a small workshop in Ispringen, Germany, quickly grew as new ideas turned into patented systems. By the 1980s, Koch-Technik had its own headquarters and was expanding into advanced drying technology.
The 1990s brought a breakthrough in dry-air systems capable of dew points as low as 60 °C, setting a new standard for processors. Global growth followed, including a joint venture in India in 1996 and later an expansion into Mexico. In 2010, Koch-Technik acquired FASTI, known for its small dryers, and integrated it under the name Fasti Koch. That move expanded the product range and gave the company a stronger position in both small and large drying systems. The firm has remained family-run, with Alex Koch stepping in as managing partner in 2023.
Achievements
Over the years, Fasti Koch has earned trust by building equipment that does the job day in and day out. Its dryers are widely used for keeping plastic granulate dry and consistent, which helps processors cut scrap and improve part quality. The company has also focused on lowering energy use, making controls easier to operate, and offering modular designs that fit different plant setups. With teams based in Europe, India, and North America, Fasti Koch can provide quick service and training close to its customers.
