Hayes & Stolz: Innovating Industrial Manufacturing for Over 75 Years
For more than seven decades, Hayes & Stolz Industrial Manufacturing Company has been a trusted partner for businesses around the world. Based in Burleson, Texas, the company is known for its high-performance mixing, material handling, and process equipment that help industries work smarter, faster, and more efficiently.
A Legacy of Innovation
Hayes & Stolz started in 1945 when Vernon Hayes and Tommy Stolz opened a small fabrication shop in Fort Worth, Texas. With 6,000 square feet and 6 employees, they served the poultry and livestock feed manufacturing industry. Even back then, they were innovative.
By the 1950s, Hayes & Stolz had expanded into designing and manufacturing mixing and material handling equipment, quickly earning a reputation as a leader in the industry. Over the years, the company grew steadily, with Vernon Hayes eventually taking full ownership in the 1970s. Under his leadership, Hayes & Stolz introduced groundbreaking equipment designs that revolutionized the feed manufacturing process.
The 90’s brought new opportunities as the company was passed to Dale and Virginia Presnell who expanded international sales and introduced laser cutting and Computer-Aided Design (CAD). In 2007, B.J. Masters took over and led the company through rapid growth. This culminated in the construction of a 144,000 square foot facility in Burleson, Texas, in 2017 – a testament to the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
