An article in the latest edition of Pipe & Profile Extrusion magazine states that primary plastics machinery fell again in the first quarter of 2017 to about 14% lower than sales in the final quarter of 2016. It doesn't look like positive growth for the primary machinery market this year. That being said, the global market looks like it will be up and auxiliary equipment will be up 11%. Injection molding machines fell 14%.
